Double Téké bell, without clapper, Democratic Republic of Congo.
Beautiful hammered iron work, probably made by the Motiéné village, the arched handle where the two bells meet, has a nice work of woven bamboo chips, another braided part with pieces of bamboo used to limit or not the sound of the bells. They are played for solemn gatherings, ceremonial use.

Base by Eugène Betra.
