This remarkable serving cabinet, also conceived as a bar, is an emblematic creation by Louis Majorelle and belongs to the celebrated La Vigne model. Crafted in blond mahogany, it stands out for the warm elegance of its wood and for the exquisite decorative work inspired by the natural world. The carved vine tendrils—an element Majorelle mastered with his blend of stylised naturalism—animate the uprights and accentuate the graceful silhouette of the piece.

The metalwork reflects exceptional craftsmanship: substantial gilt bronze handles, finely chiselled brass hinges, and delicately worked keyhole escutcheons. The presence of the original key enhances the completeness and authenticity of the work.

In excellent condition, this piece exemplifies the mature period of the Nancy School Art Nouveau, combining functionality with refined decorative artistry.
