Dan spoon from the Ivory Coast, the large lanceolate bowl extended by a long neck, holding a human head, with slitted eyes and decorated with kaolin, mouth wide open with four metal teeth, a wide headdress in the shape of a miter at the top of the skull, with incisions on front and back.

Beautiful matte and shiny patina in places.
