Christine Viennet, born in Norway in 1947, flourished in the world of ceramics by drawing inspiration from the nature that surrounded her since childhood. After studying at the Oslo School of Fine Arts and working with renowned ceramists in Norway and France, she developed her own style, influenced by the famous French Renaissance ceramicist, Bernard Palissy. Her works, whether vases, plates, basins, or sculptures, are animated by motifs inspired by both terrestrial and aquatic flora and fauna. 

Passionate about her art, Christine Viennet has had a prolific career, exhibiting her creations in galleries and museums worldwide since the 1980s. Her work is present in prestigious collections and renowned museums such as the Sèvres Museum of Ceramics, as well as in international exhibitions in New York, Japan, Sweden, and beyond. 

Beyond her professional journey, Christine Viennet shares reflections on her intimate connection with nature and her passion for artistic creation. Her childhood memories in Norway, where she sculpted snow with determination, shaped her worldview and fueled her imagination.
