CHEURET Albert

(1884 - 1966)

Albert Cheret studied sculpture with Jacques Perrin and Georges Lemaire before opening his own workshop. He exhibited regularly at the Salon des artistes français and at the 1925 International Exhibition in Paris.

His store on the Alexandre III bridge allowed him to exhibit a wide range of alabaster and bronze pieces.

Mostly known for his lighting fixtures that bring together Art Nouveau and Art Deco, he often represents birds in a naturalist or more geometric style.
