Anne-Marie Paul met Calder, worked in Miro's studio, was a friend of Georges Mathieu, and also met César with whom she worked and participated in the elaboration of certain works. Resident of the Villa Medici from 1974 to 1976, under the direction of Balthus, she befriended Fellini, Sergio Leone, Dominique Bozo and Jean Leymarie.
