Rare Bembe spoon from the Democratic Republic of Congo. 

Made of black wood, the spoon haloed with a cylindrical handle, carved on the front of the handle, of a couple in foot holding each other by the arm. The handle ends with a broken openwork ring in its upper part. Nice shiny patina. Base by Eugène Betra.
