Gaston Suisse (1896-1988) counts among the greatest artists of the Art Déco period. Exceptional polychrome gold lacquer panel, enriched with bronze powder and signed on the bottom right. Rare decoration from Gaston Suisse, presenting a naked woman (amazon) shooting antelopes with her bow, in a lush background of exotic landscape. Dated by Dominique Suisse around 1922 from photos of his father's workshop, which has remained in the family ever since.
