Rare and beautiful Punu spoon from Gabon, above the bowl, its handle composed of a feminine character standing up knees slightly bent, holding in each hand a rattle, long neck topped by a head with a traditional Punu headdress, blackened by fire.

The ensemble gives the character a rhythmed dance situation.

HT 21 cm, caramel patina, shining in some places, late XIXth

Good state, small cracks on the arms.
