This beautiful cane is divided into three registers, all of them classical and well known in Yoruba iconography.

At the bottom, a crouching monkey devours an ear of corn, while the figure in the middle shows a woman in traditional dress, with a bare chest and carrying a pot on her head.

The upper register shows a beautiful Yoruba face with a smiling expression, the features are particularly fine and the two-lobed hairstyle superbly successful. Beautiful light brown patina in places.
